Prested is a stylish part-moated 15th century hall in 75 acres of parkland and fields, just 30 minutes from Stansted Airport and Harwich Ferry. The hall was extended in the 18th century and in the 1930s, and has beams from its early origins and some fine art nouveau features. An informal nature trail around the grounds offers some outdoor interest.

10 stylish en-suite bedrooms offer comfortable beds, crisp white Egyptian cotton sheets, cafetieres and fresh flowers. Downstairs there are 5 rooms available from small intimate dining to the beautiful Orangery overlooking the moat which is perfect for large functions. Formal dining is available in the evenings in the Hall to non residents also.

Prested Hall is a beautiful and romantic setting for a wedding with exclusive hire including the 10 bedrooms, you can choose from one of the fine reception rooms or the Gazebo for your ceremony and there is a marquee available during the summer.

For conferences and team building Prested offers a tranquil workplace ideal for meetings from 2 to 150.

Adjacent to the Hall is the Health Club with a superb 20m indoor pool, sauna, steam room, gym, Power Plate, 2 courts for the Tudor game of real tennis , lawn tennis courts and spa facilities offering a full range of treatments and coming shortly a Flotation Tank. There are 6 serviced one and two bedroom apartments in the Health Club available for one night stays or long term lets. Guests in the hotel and apartments get complimentary use of the Health Club facilities.

The Health Club Bistro is open for lunch, evening meals and Brunch at weekends. Swim and Lunch is available Monday to Friday, 12pm – 3pm. Have a 2 course lunch and swim for only £10.
